The Countryside Bakery is a cottage bakery in Westchester County NY. We bake traditional and also trending healthy, tasty and delicious  baked goods. Our products are hand made from scratch, no preservatives added.

I grew up eating traditional food in Hungary. I didn’t know about food allergies at all.
My grandparents raised animals, grew vegetables and fruits in their farm.
My grandmother used the freshest most beautiful colored eggs for baking and home made pastas.
Plum jam was slowly cooked in a huge open fire kettle, in the garden, without sugar and preservatives .It was a very long process but worth it.
All winter long we had access to the delicious different kind of jams, that we used for baking.
My best childhood memories were spending time and baking with my beloved grandmother.
She didn’t have modern gas stove or oven, just a traditional stove that was heated with wood and coal. Unforgettable baked goods were created in that mini oven without timer or temperature control.

When I become a mother my passion for baking and
cooking naturally intensified. Feeding my children and family a healthy way was very important.I was teaching them how to cook and bake. We made heartwarming memories in the kitchen for sure.

Unfortunately, my daughter has various food
allergies, which pushed me to experiment and practice gluten free baking.
